Here at Lightspeed Research - The Foresight Group, we use a proprietary web-based system named
Enterprise to administer, collect, process and report survey data. This
advanced system provides the capacity to create surveys in multiple
languages, develop customized questions and demographics for different
groups within the organization, import historic data to view trends
over time, and compare results to normative data.
Enterprise allows us to create and distribute total and demographic
reports by department/division to thousands of managers worldwide.
Because there is no software to download, managers have immediate
online access to their reports via a secure password. Our proprietary
survey software is written in house ... developed and fine-tuned over
the course of 13+ years.
The Foresight Group uses a load-balanced cluster of IBM e-servers
co-located at
our ISP. The servers are configured to take very high loads, proven
to handle up to 3,000 simultaneous survey participants — with a 50%
increase in capability coming soon. Hundreds of thousands of survey
users worldwide access our
systems on a real-time basis, with no response time issues.
Our Complete Security Protects Your Data
Keeping personal information about you and your employees secure and
confidential is one of our most important responsibilities. Our systems
have maximum protection, so information remains secure.
The Foresight Group has secure Firewalls that protects our computer
network systems that interact with the Internet — blocking unauthorized
access by individuals or networks. Secure transmissions ensure
information remains confidential. We use encryption technology such as
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) on its Web sites to transmit information
between you and Foresight. SSL technology and 128-bit encryption
(scrambling) encodes information that is sent over the Internet between
your computer and Foresight, helping to ensure that the information
remains confidential.
Computer virus protection detects and prevents viruses from entering
our network systems. Our servers' platforms run on the GNU/Linux
operating system that is not affected by common viruses. They are
actively patched to fix vulnerabilities.
Log Files are also used by for our clients' security. We use IP
addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track users'
movement, prevent unauthorized tampering with our services, and gather
broad demographic information for aggregate use. We're constantly
evaluating new advances in security technology to ensure that we
provide total data protection.
